What is a pet sitter?
A pet sitter is someone who comes to your home to care for your pet while you are away. Whether you work long hours, travel for business, take a family vacation, spend a holiday out of town or simply spend a weekend away, we will attend to your pet.
By having a pet sitter come to your home, you can keep your pet happy, healthy, and secure in their familiar surroundings while adhering to their usual schedule.
Our dedicated and experienced team are happy to attend to your pets and their needs.
How does it work?
We will meet with you and your pet in your home for an initial consultation. At that time, we can gather information about you and your pet. Once we have the information we need, we can schedule any future visits with a quick phone call or an e-mail.
Our pet sitters are there to serve the needs of you and your pet. All are pet owners and pet lovers. We pride ourselves on the interaction we have with your pet while you are away. Your pets develop a personal relationship with each of our pet sitters and look forward to their visit.
How is the rate determined?
The rate is determined by the type of pet and the number of pets needing care at each visit. There is a discount for the third or fourth visit in a given day.
A surcharge is added for major holidays and visits before 7AM or after 8PM.
What happens at a visit?
A standard visit with your pet is 20-30 minutes in length and is dedicated to your pet. We walk your dogs, clean your cat's litter box, clean the cages of your birds and small animals, and administer medication if necessary. Your pet will be fed and water bowls will be refreshed.
Complementary services include collecting your mail, alternating lights and blinds, tending to your garbage and recycling, and watering your plants.
